NAPA Speedway
The four-day NAPA Speedway schedule for the 2024 VAILO Adelaide 500 has now been released.
Thursday and Friday feature the NAPA Sprintcar Invitational, which replicates the popular High Limits format in the US, and includes explosive heats with maximum overtaking opportunities, resulting in qualifying, dash draws and last chance qualifiers, before the main feature races that evening.
Each Invitational driver featured on Thursday and Friday will be battling it out for their share of the $126,000 prize purse. On Saturday and Sunday, Sprintcars, Wingless Sprints and Street Stocks will feature in match racing throughout the day.
The VAILO Adelaide 500, working with Speedway industry specialists, including Doctor in Dirt Science, Allan Barlee, responsible for track design, have designed a custom-built, temporary track with a length of 342m and a width of 17 metres, to allow for the ultimate wheel-to-wheel combat and passing action, across all four-days.
