VAILO is an Australian advanced technology company specialising in manufacturing ultra-high-performance LED sports lighting and as a premier solutions provider of LED digital displays tailored to sporting venues and major outdoor events.

 

Established in 2012 by visionary CEO Aaron HickmannVAILO started as a lighting wholesaler, underpinned by a steadfast vision to propel high-tech manufacturing within Australia. In 2022, Aaron’s vision came to life, and the company transitioned from importer to manufacturer. In the same year, VAILO became a solutions provider of LED digital displays, expanding on the sports venue offering. Subsequently, VAILO has completed a significant number of LED lighting and digital display installs across Australia.

VAILO Adelaide 500

Announced in 2022, VAILO was awarded the naming rights partner of the VAILO Adelaide 500 for three years.

 

Specialising in LED lighting and digital displays for sports, including motorsport, VAILO felt particularly aligned with the partnership.

 

Just as VAILO brought back advanced manufacturing to South Australia, the VAILO Adelaide 500 was returned to the state in 2022.

VAILO also successfully secured the contract to supply its cutting-edge digital displays for the prestigious event three years running.

 

In 2023 34 VAILO screens were installed across 26 installations, covering a combined area of 785 square metres.

 

Innovations included LED cube screens, triple screen structures at either end of pit straight, digital gate entry displays, and mobile displays.

 

The cutting-edge displays are some of the brightest in the market to date at 10,000 nits. The screens not only facilitated optimal race viewing in full sunlight from various locations but also served as effective tools for wayfinding and targeted promotion at specific intervals.
