Charity Partner Expression of Interest

The VAILO Adelaide 500 has a long history of supporting charitable organisations and community groups in South Australia and is passionate about giving back to the community.

We partner with charities and community groups who have great ideas and strategies to support people, raise awareness about important matters and raise money for key projects & initiatives.

We also aim to partner with charitable organisations and community groups who seek to work collaboratively to promote the ADL500 and add vibrancy to our event.

Want to be involved in the 2024 event?

ADL500 Dates: Thursday 14 November to Sunday 17 November 2024

We are accepting expressions of interest from charities for support; which may propose:

  • Donation of event ticketing
  • Donation of event experiences
  • Hospitality spaces to host charity functions, including possible price reductions
  • Activation spaces at the event to promote your organisation

Applications will be assessed against criteria that include but are not limited to:

  • Ticket type request
  • Originality of promotion
  • Marketing/awareness plan for our event through the Charity organisation

We will do our best to accommodate as many requests as feasible and fulfill each where possible. However charities may only receive a portion of the items requested based on timings and availability.

While there is no closing date for requests, we encourage charities to place their requests as soon as possible as there is a limited allocation available for each event.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is a very individual thing and changes year to year depending on the Charity’s goals, resources, and cause. Our best recommendation from the get-go is to develop a fundraising and activities plan that incorporates activities both at the event and outside or in the lead up to the event.

It is important to note that, the Charity is responsible for their own fundraising plan and the event management of any events that you want to plan or host as part of the partnership.

It’s not a flat out “no”, but there are restrictions and strict safety measures that require you to have a very good, well thought out idea before you come to us. The easiest way is to utilise hospitality facilities on the Wednesday or Thursday of event week.

Unfortunately, as Supercars Australia manage contact with drivers and teams we cannot promise driver engagement and appearances. Contact will need to be made directly with Supercars or other category teams through a charity’s own channels.

Yes, they can! We’re happy to talk through ideas with the Charity too. When we provide space to a charity appointed as the Charity the one thing we will need is a list of all the merchandise they would like to sell, just to check it doesn’t conflict too much with the event’s merchandise.

Bump in occurs during the week of the event, with bump out commencing on the Monday immediately after the event, with all Charity items removed by the Tuesday following the event.

We will make sure you have the appropriate site passes and inductions.

Yes.

Unfortunately, no. We suggest all charities hire a secure transport company such as Armguard to securely store and transport your hard-earned fundraising from the event.
