08 Aug 2024

With just under 100 days until the 2024 VAILO Adelaide 500, the highly anticipated track schedule has been released, as the event celebrates 25 years.

Supercars will take to the streets of Adelaide each day of the event as drivers prepare for what is expected to be the championship deciding final.

With a rollercoaster Repco Supercars Championship title fight so far in 2024, the current top three drivers Will Brown, Chaz Mostert and Broc Feeney will be leaving nothing to chance at Australia’s largest domestic motorsport event.

Qualifying for Race 23 will end the day’s racing on Friday, before the top ten have another chance to contend for pole on Saturday during the fan-favourite Top Ten Shootout, which will be repeated to order the grid for the final 250km race of the season on Sunday.

The highly-anticipated Boost Mobile Stadium Super Trucks will make their exclusive return to the event across all four days, while high-powered support categories also return to wow fans across the four day festival including the Tyrepower V8 SuperUte Series, Paynter Dixon Porsche Carrera Cup and Trico Trans Am Series.

Fans can also get closer to the action with daily Pit Lane Walks times and tickets released today, providing a unique behind the scenes experience inside the Supercars pit lane to showcase the cars, garages and fan favourite drivers.

On track action times can now be viewed on the VAILO Adelaide 500 website so fans can plan their VAILO Adelaide 500 experience with Grandstand and General Admission tickets now on sale via Ticketmaster, including 4-Day, 2-Day and Single Day options.

Complimenting the on-track schedule will be event firsts, NAPA Speedway Sprintcars in the City, over both Thursday and Friday nights, and Round 3 of the Australian Supercross Championship featuring the Boost Mobile Supercross Sprint on Saturday night, with the off-track schedule to be released soon.

Meanwhile, from Sunday night 11 August the event’s ALLIN campaign will be launched, continuing the theme of 2023 which saw over 260,000 fans flock to the event as Adelaide came alive once more.

The South Australian Motor Sport Board owned campaign, in partnership with creative agency Showpony, features motorsport personalities, drivers and fans, celebrating the diverse event experiences and reasons why fans and the State go ALL IN.

The integrated campaign, across TV, outdoor, radio and social channels, celebrates the event’s exciting 25-year history , and the headline on and off-track entertainment offerings as the party continues, including Australian rock royalty Cold Chisel on Sunday night.

VAILO Adelaide 500 Chief Executive Mark Warren said: “The campaign is a fresh approach to celebrating the event and the reasons why lifelong race fans, together with first time racegoers, enjoy our event so much.

“Since the VAILO Adelaide 500’s return in 2022, the event and fan experience continue to reach new entertainment levels. This year we are providing fans with a true motorsport mecca and the campaign is a playful take on why so many of our fans go ALL IN”.

Showpony Creative Director, Rory Kennett-Lister said: “It’s been great to work with the South Australian Motor Sport Board and marketing team to build on the success of the VAILO Adelaide 500 ALL IN campaign from last year.

“This concept was all about bringing the anticipation of this truly unique race to life. We wanted to create something that reflected the passion of the personalities, drivers and the fans. And we wanted to do it with humour and fun, which has always been part of the event’s DNA.”
