A ticket to the VAILO Adelaide 500 has never been better value.

Not only does your general admission, grandstand or hospitality ticket enable you to soak up four days of Supercars and support category racing on track, but a host of other motorsport attractions are free to watch, too.

Combined with the weekend concerts, free activities and other inclusions, you can experience more than 12 hours a day of entertainment for the price of your day ticket.

And with children aged 12 years and under admitted free to general admission when accompanied by a paying adult, the value really adds up for families.

These are just some of the free inclusions and activities that come at no extra cost.

AN AUSTRALIAN FIRST IN SPEEDWAY

New to the VAILO Adelaide 500 in 2024 is the NAPA Speedway – Sprintcars in the City.

Set to light up Thursday and Friday nights and send dirt flying during the day on Saturday and Sunday, NAPA Speedway will be held on a purpose-built track on CBC Oval, for the first time a speedway track has been constructed so close to the city centre.

See 40 of the best Australian and international sprintcar drivers compete, including 2024 Australian Sprintcar champion Lachlan McHugh, South Australian star Matt Egel and US competitors Thomas “T-Mez” Meseraull and Chase Randall.

All VAILO Adelaide 500 ticketholders have free access on the day their ticket is valid to the speedway precinct, which has space for 8000 fans in bleacher seats and ground viewing areas.

General admission adult tickets on Thursday cost $39* and on Friday cost $79*, with an After 4pm Friday option costing $39*.

AN AUSTRALIAN SUPERCROSS ROUND

The Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Sprint is another new event that is free to all VAILO Adelaide 500 ticketholders on the day/s their pass is valid.

To be held over Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the event also marks Round 4 of Australian Supercross Championship’s five-round calendar, ensuring the nation’s top Supercross riders will compete.

Fans can take their free seat in the Heritage Grandstand to view the competition in SX1, SX2, SX3 and 85CC classes on the custom-built track, which has been designed for tighter battles and aggressive passing opportunities.

The event format also has been created specifically for the Adelaide event, making it a unique experience to enjoy for no extra cost.

The two premier Supercross classes will compete after Saturday’s Supercars race, enabling those with an adult general admission Saturday ticket to witness the penultimate races of the year across two motorsport categories for the one price of $99*.

AWESOME ATTRACTIONS

As always, there is something to see and do in every corner of the VAILO Adelaide 500 track and it won’t cost anything more than your entry ticket.

One of the most unique collections of V8 cars will be on display when car owners come together for V8 Nation.

There you can also meet custom car celebrities Dave Kindig and Kevin Schiele, who are coming back after their first visit last year to meet more fans at daily signing sessions.

Or, get up close to drag cars on display and hear them roar to life, and see the mechanics at work on the support category race cars, including the Stadium Super Trucks.

Learn something new at the exhibitor displays or test your skills in motorsport-themed activities in the TrAction Zone.

There are so many things to see and do that you’ll need all four days to do them all. And at a cost of $189* for an adult general admission four-day ticket, you can do it all for less than $50 a day.

TWO NIGHTS OF EPIC CONCERTS

For Saturday and Sunday ticketholders, the After Race Concerts are included in the price of the ticket and this year features some of the biggest names in Australian music history.

With a Saturday ticket, catch four fabulous acts over five hours of music, with J-Milla, Meg Mac and Ocean Alley supporting the headline act Crowded House on the stage.

Then for Sunday ticketholders, another four artists will ensure your weekend ends on the biggest note possible, with Tonix, The Superjesus and The Cruel Sea performing before Cold Chisel brings the house down.

With a two-day adult general admission pass available from $169*, it equates to less than $90 for each After Race Concert – nevermind all the excitement that you’ll experience at the track during the day.

OTHER INCLUSIONS

SA Water is providing free water at various locations around the circuit, so you can top up your own water bottle and stay hydrated during the day without dipping into your pocket.

Children’s activities in the HomeStart Family Zone will also be free. They can enjoy rollercoaster rides and the slide, get a temporary tattoo or their face painted, and try out some of the junior racing games and experiences.

Don’t forget you also get the chance to meet your favourite driver and get an autograph and/or selfie with them at fan signing sessions held throughout the weekend. That alone is a money-can’t-buy experience!

*Note: A one-off Ticketek booking fee per transaction of $6.95 applies
