The electronic/indie/pop group TONIX has gained momentum since 2023 thanks to their high-energy shows that blend synthesiser, saxophone, keytar, and drums, influenced by acts like Rüfüs Du Sol. With powerhouse vocalist Sammi Keough out front, TONIX are on the rise, following standout performances at Scouted 2023 and IndieCon. Their latest single “Snake,” produced by David Turley, will be released to coincide with their Adelaide 500 performance.

The VAILO Adelaide 500 After-Race Concert Series serves as a key feature of MusicSA’s Good Music Month, a month-long celebration of South Australia’s thriving live music scene throughout November. Good Music Month and the VAILO Adelaide 500 After Race Concert Series provide a major opportunity for local artists to showcase their talent and connect with national audiences on one of the state’s most prominent stages.

MusicSA Chair, John Glenn, said:

“The VAILO Adelaide 500 and MusicSA have a long-standing partnership, providing an awesome
opportunity for our most exciting local artists to be part of such a prestigious event. To have J-MILLA and TONIX perform on the same stage as Australian music icons like Cold Chisel and Crowded House not only showcases their incredible talent but also places Adelaide’s live music scene in the national spotlight.”

South Australian Minister for Arts, Andrea Michaels MP, said,

“The VAILO Adelaide500 After Race concert series demonstrates perfectly how arts and culture go hand in hand with major sporting events. South Australians love their sport and they love our state’s reputation as the festival state, home to incredible arts, culture and creativity. This event will see two of our state’s popular emerging artists, J-MILLA and TONIX, perform alongside major headliners for an incredible performance, not to be missed!”
