Adelaide revs up for exhilarating VAILO Adelaide Grand Final as part of new look 2025 Repco Supercars Championship format.
Adelaide will host the Grand Final next year with the culmination of a down-to-the wire Supercars Finals Series format to take to the streets of Adelaide 27 – 30 November 2025.
With the champion of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship to be crowned in a guaranteed battle in Adelaide, fans will enjoy more Supercars action under the new format, hosting the title deciding final three races in the Adelaide Parklands, with the introduction of a new 100km Friday race, setting up the blockbuster Saturday and Sunday 250km races.
The Repco Supercars Finals Series will provide more on-track content and a dramatic conclusion to the entire championship with the highest season point scorers qualifying to fight for the championship in Adelaide in a new elimination style format from the previous rounds.
There will be guaranteed tension as the top four finalists vie for the championship trophy in Adelaide with their points reset, and fight amongst the entire grid over the span of the three critical races.
Fans from across Australia are anticipated to visit Adelaide to witness the crowning of the 2025 Repco Supercars Champion, the highest point scorer across the event from the four finalists taking home the trophy.
Pole positions, including the Top 10 Shootouts, and race victories will still be up for grabs across the entire field, ensuring there will be action at every turn and history made in Adelaide’s Grand Final.
The important team’s championship will be another competition for audiences in Adelaide to watch, with teammates of the four championship protagonists, set to play exciting roles in supporting both team and driver title tilts.
South Australian Motor Sport Board CEO Mark Warren said: “The VAILO Grand Final in Adelaide will be a major shakeup for the series, producing a must see event for all motorsport fans over four days.
“Like all sports, we are anticipating the Grand Final in Adelaide to be significant where we will welcome crowds from across the country, eager to attend the first VAILO Adelaide Grand Final in the history of the event and the Repco Supercars Championship, including a new 100km Friday race and the guaranteed battle to be crowned Champion here in Adelaide.
“Like all Grand Finals, both tickets and hotel rooms will be in demand, and we’re delighted to put on a dramatic conclusion for all to enjoy with more racing and more at stake across three races.”
The on-track format for the Repco Supercars Championship at the Grand Final in Adelaide next year will consist of –

- 2-part Qualifying
- 100km Race (31 Laps)
- Saturday
- 3-part qualifying including Top 10 Shootout
- 250km Race (78 Laps)
- Sunday
- 3-part qualifying including Top 10 Shootout
- 250km Race (78 Laps)
