Variety SA named VALO Adelaide 500 Charity Partner

Beloved charity for children in need, Variety SA will be the official charity partner for the 2022 VALO Adelaide 500, with $1 from every ticket sold in November to be donated to the charity to help disadvantaged South Australian children.

 

Variety SA supports children and families across the state who are facing many challenges through sickness, disadvantage or living with disability.

 

To celebrate, the VALO Adelaide 500 has pledged to donate $1 from every ticket sold in the month of November to Variety SA in aid of their efforts in assisting local children in need.

 

As official charity partner of the 2022 VALO Adelaide 500, Variety SA will be trackside at the event this December showcasing a display of cars and accepting donations from event goers to help support disadvantaged children and families.

 

Supercars driver and Variety SA ambassador Todd Hazelwood said: “Variety SA is a hugely important part of the South Australian community, and I am so excited to see the VALO Adelaide 500 support this work over the next two years as the official charity partner.”

 

Variety SA CEO Mark McGill said: “We’d like to thank the VALO Adelaide 500 for their generous pledge to donate a portion of their November ticket sales to Variety SA, which will benefit our work helping children in need in South Australia. Variety’s work allows kids to gain mobility, to get out and about in the community, to communicate, achieve independence and increase their self-esteem. They make sure the kids who miss out, can always join in, because all kids deserve a fair go.

 

A few of the fundraising opportunities confirmed so far at the 2022 VALO Adelaide 500, include a donation of $5 from every sale of SA Water BYO Bottles to Variety SA and $1 from all ticket sales through the month of November.
