The Saturday action of the VAILO Adelaide 500 does not stop when the chequered flag falls at the end of the first Supercars race of the weekend.
Motorsport fans who have not experienced enough can see racers battle it out on two wheels at the Boost Mobile AusX Supercross Sprint.
Those attending the event for the entertainment, meanwhile, can keep their party going at the After Race Concert featuring four musical acts.
FOX AUSTRALIAN SUPERCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP
From 5.30pm, competitors in Round 4 of the Fox Australian Supercross Championship will battle it out on the purpose-built Supercross track, located in front of the Heritage Grandstand.
Australia’s top Supercross riders and entrants from overseas in both the SX1 and SX2 categories will compete in four 7-lap races, which is a unique race format for the sport that has been specially created for the VAILO Adelaide 500.
Riders are telling fans to expect chaos on the tight circuit as they manoeuvre their Supercross bikes through the corners and fly over the jumps in their quest to be first past the finish line.
The two-hour spectacular culminates in special podium celebrations.
AFTER RACE CONCERT
From 5.15pm, the Concert Stage near Gate 1 becomes the place to be for fans who want to celebrate another big day at the VAILO Adelaide 500.
The After Race Concerts have become a staple for fans who enjoy the atmosphere of the four-day event as much as the racing.
South Australian artist J-Milla starts the party before Australian artist Meg Mac takes the stage, then rock outfit Ocean Alley lifts the excitement level up a notch.
At 8.30pm, headline act Crowded House will perform their popular songs to the masses.
The stage has relocated to a new venue within the street circuit precinct for the 2024 event but there still will be many food and beverage vendors nearby to fuel up concertgoers, including those located at the new Pub in the Park precinct.
